Listen now | Six smokin' weeks to transform your summer slump into creative momentum. Kids are home, vacations beckon, and longer days tempt us away from our desks. But what if this summer could be different? What if these six weeks became your most productive writing period of the year?
Signed up but can't make June 4 meeting :-( Session with Becky followed by Gala for American Library in Paris--I support libraries now more than ever. Will be sending everyone on the Zoom meeting much love and cheers for writing.
You gave me feedback in Studio to make one thing the most important so that I don't set myself to warrant beating myself up!! So, with that in mind, I'm concentrating on the writing workshop I'm attending in September and the submissions that are due in July. I'll also be reading and listening but as far as writing goes, that is what I'll be working on.
I was with Sara at the American Library in Paris event! I plan to work on my stalled memoir and I want to work on a "vision/idea" I have about my biological father, who I knew well, but who didn't raise me.
I’ll be there! During the last challenge, I finished a draft on the basic story line. This summer I going back through creating scenes. I’m slowing down and getting closer per my teacher’s advice. 😀
Looking forward to the challenge of maintaining some writing momentum through the early summer DIY bathroom remodeling and grandkid visiting. Working with your hands and watching little kids can be inspirational - well maybe at least some of the time if I’m being honest. Will be good to have dedicated space to capture those moments before smashing my thumb with a hammer beats them out my short term memory. I’m just finishing my research for a historical fiction novel set in medieval Al-Andalus, so the timing is good.

This sounds amazing! I'm planning on it. 🖤
Bravo! I see you are registered. Well done and what are you going to work on?
I haven't read all of the fine print but my blog (www.blacksheepmom.com) is a series that I want to put into a manuscript. I have a book to compile! 🖤
Super cool!
