I've been to New York, attended the New Music Seminar in Manhattan, tramped up and down the streets and elevators and jumped in and out of cabs to deliver a client's demo music to A&R Departments (after learning we needed endorsement from an Entertainment Lawyer) - a fascinating and funny story included in my memoir! I can absolutely relate to your experience and all the 'feels', not to mention 'how DO people live there?'
Though not yet ready for 'From Pitch to Publication', I'm thinking 'Scene vs. Exposition' might be where to begin.
