Hi, all. I was so sorry to miss our last live meet-up. We had family in town and it just wasn't in the cards that day. I am enjoying listening to this though, and wanted to respond to some of the questions.
What I have learned most over the past six weeks is that my creative rhythm may not look like others--but if I set small goals for myself week after week, I can make the progress I am hoping for with my story. Right now, I am blessed with a lull at work and instead of finding things to fill that time like my old workaholic tendencies would push me to do--Instead, I take a few hours in the afternoon to sit and work on my book. I have also been reading more and have felt inspired by some recent reads to keep going.
It has been so interesting to meet both the writers in my writer's studio with Jennifer and those I have met through this challenge. I love the writing community! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday break and keep the light on for your creativity into the new year!
Love this: " What I have learned most over the past six weeks is that my creative rhythm may not look like others--but if I set small goals for myself week after week, I can make the progress I am hoping for with my story. "
I love all of these ideas and suggestions. It's really a powerful transformation to go from sometimes writer to figuring out how to stay committed to a project consistently. Thanks for this -- and the terrific video!

Great summary and we know you see us working it out. 🥰
I also love all of these ideas. Mine would be to schedule the writing first and stick to it - otherwise, it doesn’t happen.
Well done! Check back and let us know how it goes.
