Thank you for this Jennifer. Publishing sounds... Terrifying! But exciting. I'm here for the adventure and on my way no matter what. It's good to go in feeling like I have my eyes wide open.

A note on "Bones." I took the course in 2019. Three years later, I still keep my Bones folder beside my desk and pull it out ALL THE TIME for reference. The information alone is worth the price of admission. By the end of the course I also had a full outline for my story, a W chart, a thorough understanding of my plot, and character sketches for all of my main characters. Added bonus, the community rocks. Bones is a game changer.

To be honest, publication was never my goal. Getting my story down on paper first by transcribing my journals was first. But after attending several classes and Pitch to Pub, I am now interested in publishing first and foremost to share my journey. Maybe others experienced the same relationship traumas and they would not feel so alone. It is also a frightening thought to put one's soul out there for all to see.
